Tour operator organizing groups tours all over Europe, for Indian clients

Key responsibilities

• Day to day tour operations with suppliers like sending rooming lists/queries/rates negotiation/ maintain cut-off dates etc • Prepare/co-ordinate travel documents for clients like vouchers, itinerary etc • Handling of complete operations, pre and post sales, for Groups / Individual packages • Keeping updated with all on tour movements of the guests and working closely with Tour Management Team • Co-ordinate with on ground tour manager or handler • Liaison with suppliers (hotels/excursions/transport) in Europe for Groups & Individuals travellers • Managing suppliers and effectively communicating with them right from availability to statement reconciliations • Effective e-mail management and managing change requests of various bookings • Maintain booking details, ops set up for products, work on various MIS reports • Day to day correspondence, feedback and reverting on queries with sales team/branches • To cross check supplier invoices/claims breakages and maintain the data base for payments • Liaison with the Finance and Accounts team for the timely payment of the vendors

Skills and experience needed

English is a must. Other languages are a plus (French, German, Italian) Good interpersonal skills Numerical ability Organized, team-player Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner Strong communication and sales skills The ability to prioritize and cope with pressure at busy times
